During my first real evening of working on my classics thesis, using only a notebook, a pen, and a primary text which has been helpfully translated *into English already*, so that there is no way I can be misinterpreting it, I have managed to successfully and with completely accurate logic prove that Apollo is Dionysos.

NO.

NUH-UH.

NO.

*bangs head on text as in Monty Python and the Holy Grail* Libera me, domine... whimper.

You seriously need to read Nietzsche's "The Birth of Tragedy", if you haven't already.

Also, I had a dream last night that Irina and I were trying to tell your "Vatican museum" story to a room full of people we were eating dinner cafeteria-style with, including Cassandra and my sister, but we kept interrupting each other and accusing each other of getting the details wrong. The dessert tasted and was shaped like apple pie, but was uniformally smooth and dark purple.
