busy, busy
Jan. 27th, 2003 08:40 pmThings I Have Done Today:
got up, took 7:50 shuttle from Glenmede to campus, ate breakfast, got to Calc early enough to review before it for Greek quiz (but not quite enough, darn it), Calc, the Mon.-Wed.-Fri. uphill sprint from the PSB to Carpenter, Greek quiz, Cartref to replace my ID which went missing at the beginning of the semester and which does not seem likely to reappear, lunch, Roman History, to library to fill out work order, to Comptroller to submit work order/arrange direct deposit/check W4 form/find out how much they're actually paying me, Athenian Archaeology and Monuments, reading for Athens course, meeting to arrange self-paced walking gym credit (which is going to be a pain in the ass, literally), dinner, sprint to 6:20 shuttle, sign up for laundry, one-page paper for Interpreting Mythology, arrange shelver training session with library, arrange sewing machine time for Yaone costume. I filled in the blank bits by reading Suetonius and have managed to get through Nero; on to carrying around Tacitus instead. Suetonius is so much fun.
Things I Have Yet To Do Today:
laundry, talk to Ruth (yay!), paragraph of Greek translation, more Athens reading if I feel like it (but that can be put off till tomorrow if I want to), pester roommate to finish copying Bostonians' CDs, costume pinning.
Things I Have To Do Tomorrow:
Greek and Myth classes, Final Registration (which involves tracking down my major advisors), chase down the guy who is supervising shelving to nail down hours, Athens reading, probably Greek homework, Sassafrass rehearsal, talk to Sei (yay!), mail CDs to Bostonians if I have time while the post office is open that is not taken up by administrative running about. Costume pinning.
Things I Have To Do This Week (i.e. before Friday night):
Elsinore budget meeting with SGA, visit Career Development Office to inquire about summer internships, sewing machine time, library shelver training, beginning of work hours, walk two miles for self-paced. The usual classes and homework.
I'm having fun, but I'm glad the administrative stuff is only going to be this week. I am also happy, as previous semesters this schedule would have caused me to hide under a bed, but I am downright perky, scarily enough. However, this entry is not merely to make me feel accomplished or to let those of you who wonder about such things in on my daily routine, but also to point out that I am probably not going to be updating this thing very often. Do not worry. I am fine. Busy but happy.
