I don't know how to actually set this link up to be a link, but you must all go and see this poster.

It is for the new Disney movie. The new Disney movie looks exceptionally gorgeous to stare at; there's also a preview out there on the Net, which caused me to sit with my jaw down around my knees somewhere from the sheer beauty of the animation. It went on my 'my goddess, that's lovely' list with things like Yami no Matsuei. Because that poster isn't even a good shot. This is not what I expected out of the Mouse... And the other thing I didn't expect is, well, I'm sure some of you saw the Final Fantasy movie. Which was also pretty, and reasonably good, though not great in my opinion. Except that it wasn't actually a movie of the Final Fantasy games. Disney seems to have taken up the slack on that one. I mean, just look at that airship. And the preview has more of the elements; obvious world-threatening catastrophe, and a genuine Summon sequence. No chocobos, but I suppose somebody'd sue them.
Mind you, there are two things that there is absolutely no way to tell about this movie yet. The preview was recorded before the voice acting was finished, so there wasn't any dialogue. Therefore, not only is there no way to tell how the acting's going to be, but there's no way to tell if the thing has a script. It could easily have not a brain in its head. Still, I wanted to call it to people's attention, because it can't help but be at least worth watching just for the gorgeousness.
As for my personal life: I am in Ohio. My dogs are delightful. I welcome email or phone calls, but warn me before you call so that I'll make sure to be in.
I am at the moment thoroughly miserable for reasons having nothing to do with my whereabouts (if you need to know why, you already know), so I can't promise to be much company. But it would be nice to hear from people.
Angst-O-Meter: jammed up off the scale. Not coming down any time soon.
