Weird Manga Fact of the Week
Oct. 28th, 2003 09:24 pmThey made a manga out of Interview with the Vampire a couple years back. Very very shoujo. Very very yaoi. My head hurts. Didn't see much other than the character designs, but it was decently pretty. I've never been an Anne Rice fan, but the first two books are a fun read if nothing more, and apparently those are the ones they adapted. Amusingly enough, Lestat's character design looked awful in black and white and great in color, while Louis looked awful in color and great in black and white. This seems to fit somehow. Armand just looks great, and Claudia just looks awful. There's almost no English info, but the Japanese title is Yoake no Vampire. Somehow, this struck me as something that both joudama and iffer might be interested in...

and why does the little girl in interview mourn she can never appear as anything else?
