I had wondered for years why Ruth perks up and looks so happy and delighted whenever anyone suggests defrosting the freezer.

Today I learned that Ruth's concept of defrosting the freezer includes Playmobil sled dogs and other fauna of the Arctic tundra.

Am having vague urge to defrost every freezer in the house, except that no one of them will contain the things from all three.

In other news, today's You Must Be Joking That Is So Obviously A Pseudonym author pseudonym is Rhyannon Byrd, who is, I promise, a real author pseudonym whose book I have just ordered for the store.

Do they work for the SyFy Channel?

Alas, my concept of defrosting the freezer involves a hammer and chisel and possibly a blowtorch.

We used to have a woman living upstairs from us whose name was given on the rental agreement as Morgaihne Huntress. That isn't a typo, she spelled her first name Morgaihne. The hell of it was that I eventually met her extended family, who were unlike her in that they were all extremely conservative, dignified, and withdrawn, and their last name was Huntress too. Just a case of nature aiding and abetting an unusual taste in names on her part. (Morgaihne had a crescent-moon-shaped scar, which she had carved herself, right in the middle of her forehead. As a friend of mine said later, "Yep. That bodes of stability.")

I'm dealing with this woman now. I'm assuming it has to be the same one because who else spells their name like that. She's from Falmouth, MA, correct? Or at least thats where she lives now. She's really a pain in the ass.

I know this person too. She has her issues, as we all do if we're honest, but she is also very sweet and kind. It made me sad to see someone speaking ill of her. It's unfortunate, in this technologically removed society, that many people post hurtful things on-line.

I am Morgaihne Huntress. I don’t know who you are, but I’m guessing you were my landlord when I briefly lived in Western Mass. I am perplexed; I only lived at that address a few months, if that. I rarely went out, because I was so ill. I don’t remember having long conversations with anyone, so how can you know me? You seem more than happy to post a cruel judgement online without concern for its hurtful impact. You must be basing your opinion on looks and perhaps a short visit with my parents? That isn’t very open minded...
I found this comment years ago whilst looking for a new flat. I did a search on Google to see what would happen if a perspective landlord searched as well, because we live in a technological time. I was shocked and extremely hurt to find this. I took a quick look at some of your other posts, trying to figure out who you are, because I was so confused. The interesting thing is, had you not spoken so cruelly of me, I think we have a lot in common. Your writing is lovely. You are truly gifted. You have a knack of creating a full picture with your words. I appreciate that; it makes reading so much more enjoyable and not all writers do that.
I know life isn’t fair, trust me. If you knew my journey, you’d understand that I’ve struggled both physically and emotionally for a long time. Multiple chronic illnesses do that to a person, but that doesn’t make me bonkers. If you are who I think you are, you met me when my illnesses were beginning to take their toll. It was an extremely difficult time. I wish you could appreciate how painful your comments are and I wish we could find a resolution. I hate conflict and misunderstandings. I’m happy to have a chat, but I won’t push it.
In future, I urge you to think more on how your posted judgements affect others and if you cannot or will not do that, just ponder this: How would you feel if you were on the receiving end? Perhaps you’re just stronger than I am? I don’t know. I do find it conflicting that you post under a pseudonym and you go to great lengths to hide your identity and gender, yet you’re perfectly happy to be openly cruel to people you don’t really know...perhaps that is your intent? I hope not. I hope we can find a common ground and resolve this. Namaste and Peaceful Blueberries, Morgaihne

This is Morgaihne again...I have vision differences and I missed this when I sent the post. It should have been prospective landlord, not prespective. 🤦🏾‍♀️ (Clearly.🙃) Namaste.🌀

You must not know Morgaihne well. She is a really nice woman who has been struggling with health issues for years. She IS different-truly unique! Too bad you feel the need to judge so.

I agree with the last poster. To the original poster and the respondent: You must not know Morgaihne well. She is a really nice woman who has been struggling with health issues for years. She IS different-truly unique! Too bad you feel the need to judge so.
