a piece of Utena meta
Jan. 17th, 2009 01:25 amThrud noticed something recently that I found very interesting-- she happened to notice it because of the proximity to one another in the room of various pieces of merchandising.
A picture of Lalah Sune from the original Mobile Suit Gundam.
Himemiya Anthy.
There is absolutely no way that that is a coincidence, especially given how huge a thing Gundam is in Japan; Lalah Sune has been topping Greatest Female Character In Anime Ever poll lists for literally decades now.
Lalah Sune's greatest effects on the characters in MS Gundam happen after she's dead, when her physical presence is null and her psychic presence is, both intrinsically and by her own will, emotionally shattering.
