booklogging: January link
Feb. 1st, 2009 12:11 amA note on how I have been doing booklogging this year-- I have always liked the idea of keeping track of what I read, but if I actually try to write down everything I read, it fails miserably. I cannot keep up, because I am the sort of person who picks up something to read in the interim while I am trying to decide what to read next, so that I can put off the decision a while longer.
Then I decided: why don't I not track rereads?
This seems to have weeded things down to manageable, at least so far.
So, while I still intend to write up things I find notable, want to recommend, etc., the booklog, which contains at least a few possibly incoherent and incomprehensible words on everything new I read, is here, and I intend to link to it, or to subsequent entries in it if I decide this one is too long, monthly, so that people can ask me if there are any opinions they would like me to elaborate on.
January felt like a light reading month-- I mean I didn't feel like I spent much time in it reading, as opposed to fooling around on the internet and watching anime-- but I suppose I'll see as I go on.
