In other news, I've actually started writing Altarwise, as opposed to prewriting it.
It is a good sensation to work on a novel which seems as though it is actually going to go somewhere and not sit there after a few pages playing hopscotch for a plot. This time, I know everything to the end of Part I, and some things after that, so it's got a while before it can try to get away from me.
