The Mighty Hunter
Mar. 22nd, 2005 08:28 pmToday Rafael caught a mouse.
There weren't supposed to be any mice in our apartment, so it's nice to know that there still aren't. I do not think it can have been a particularly wily or lively mouse, as our boys lost their mother too young to have learned much in the way of hunting behaviour, but he has certainly done well for a cat who has lived his whole life in two rooms. This was their first small fuzzy live object. Rafael ate about half of it and is presently spurning his celebratory canned chicken.
He seems thoroughly unsurprised by the unstinting praise and adulation.
