rushthatspeaksNancy J. did not show up. In fact, not even the entire department showed up. rabidfangurl showed up, which was nice of her; I was however glad of the small audience as a general thing. I think it went OK. Not great.
In receipt of one (1) inflatable platypus (McDonogh: 'Here's your latest testament to eBay'). It is about two feet long and painted in appealing blue and brown colors. It is sitting on the end of my bed looking long-suffering. I have named it Diderot, as it was obviously written up yonder that today I would acquire an inflatable platypus. Have started, in lack of a visible person to blame, to formulate extremely long-range revenge plans centering around everyone I know. You who are responsible for this: someday, years from now, when you least suspect it, I will be there. Possibly with squid. It will be hilarious. You have been warned.
