Syona Keleste and Eredien surprised me late last night with a jack o'platypus. It's carved out of an eggplant, very cutely, bill, tail, paws and all. Since jack o'lanterns are a Celtic tradition, I had to pick the name of a British philosopher, so I decided based on cuteness and shortness of life. Lord Byron will be on display outside my room through this weekend (except during Rhoads Halloween, of course); please contact me if you would like to see him lit.

I have the most amazing friends in the whole world.

This does not mean I am not going to take massive revenge for the platypus at some future point.
