It appears I have not made even a small state-of-the-me update in two weeks: as for state of the me, picture me in a desk chair with my feet on the couch and a computer on my lap, drinking something called Dr. Pepper Cherry, eating Japanese plum drop candy, and proofreading the first draft of Thrud's dissertation, which is, in this file format at least, in the low two hundred page length and in about five languages.

Picture me in this position until about the last of March.

My condolences. I had the pleasure of copyediting about a hundred and thirty pages yesterday; only two languages if we count techspeak as a subdialect of sales jargon, but intensely boring material, whereas I'm sure Thrud's dissertation is at least interesting. :) Tell her that if she needs/wants another editor to give it a look, I'm here.
