Chapter 1 of Altarwise is done, at 3,874 words. The next chapter will be fun, but also much harder.

The Brattle Theatre, when they have the Boston Fantastic Film Festival in late October, is doing the area premiere of Terry Gilliam's Tideland.

The Red Shoes is a really amazing movie, and now I have to rewatch the entirety of Princess Tutu, because there were totally references.

I am going to sleep now.

((grins)) Trippy, ain't it?

I was named after Moira Shearer. The story is my parents saw the movie rerun on network TV and gushed "She is SO beautiful, if we have a girl, we'll name her Moira." And, well, here I am. I even had ballet lessons, til I got too tall. Fortunately I didn't have throwing-myself-under-a-train lessons.

I'm really really looking forward to Tideland.

Fortunately I didn't have throwing-myself-under-a-train lessons.

There's been a shortage of teachers for those ever since the certification process started requiring demonstrated ability.

Go, [livejournal.com profile] rushthatspeaks her Muse!

Ooh, Gilliam. May I join the party to view?

I've been telling [livejournal.com profile] sovay that she'd like The Red Shoes.
