My housemate, Ada Palmer, whom some of you may know by the pseudonym I generally use for her here (Thrud) is the new Fashion/Cosplay columnist at the revamped Tokyopop website; the first two installments are live. Click the link and then click Fashion/Cosplay in the side bar. Some columns may be of interest to persons not interested in anime and manga-- one of the ones that's up now describes how to use a bicycle hand-brake to make portions of homemade puppets move, for example. She assures me that the column is going to be centered on convention reports and costuming technique, and that the word 'Fashion' is an editorial misnomer.
