I am going to be coming to Readercon. I will be in the Camberville area on Friday, but due to an appointment cannot make the con until evening if then, though I'll try to get there as early as possible because the programming looks awesome. I will try for both Saturday and Sunday; Saturday is definite, Sunday is ninety percent likely but if I fall over then I won't.

Programming Item:

3:00 pm F The Rhysling Award Poetry Slan.
Mike Allen (L), Theodora Goss, Darrell Schweitzer, Lucius Shepard, Sonya Taaffe, Catherynne M. Valente, with Mary Alexandra Agner, Erik Amundsen, Leah Bobet, Lila Garrott, Drew Morse, Peter Payack, and Lorraine Schein.
(60 min.) (A "poetry slan," to be confused with "poetry slam," is a poetry reading by sf folks, of course.) Climaxed by the presentation of this year's Rhysling Awards.

Note that I am tenth on the program and may be cut for time, and also that the poem* is short. Come for Lucius Shepard and Dora Goss and Mike Allen and [livejournal.com profile] sovay and such, and don't be surprised by probable me.

* 'How To Hide In A Japanese Print', which will be in Mythic Delirium 17, which is not the issue that just came out but one that will appear at some point in the future-- I'll mention when it's available.
