I sent in a membership app to Wiscon somewhere between six and eight weeks ago.

I haven't heard back, and now I hear the con's sold out.

How worried should I be?

And who should I bother, if I should in fact be worrying?

I don't yet have a floor, because I wanted to confirm my membership first; hopefully I won't end up sleeping in, like, Milwaukee. But I *do* have a membership and should therefore have a floor presently, and you may indeed sleep on it, or on the other half of my bed, or on the luggage rack, or wherever seems best.

I don't think there's usually this much of a rush-- it's that it's the 30th one and also because of the Guest List of Doom.

I think I'll rule out the luggage rack, because I'm an uneasy sleeper and I don't want to take out any suitcases when I wake, but otherwise: you rock. Thank you.

If you wind up absolutely sure you can't make it, you might in fact be able to transfer it. At least, I think you could. I hope you can make it, though.

In general, con memberships are transferrable — you just have to talk to the concom and let them know.
