OFFICIALLY DOES NOT EXIST.

Not after starting with a dream containing that many cockroaches EATING PEOPLE and then continuing with news of the passing of that legislation in Michigan I've been worried about for months and the latest earthquake in Indonesia and I give up wake me up in a week. Except sleep is bad, because I fear my dreams. So today? I'm going to play computer solitaire. Intelligent conversation, higher brain function, ability to answer email, and, in fact, normal human existence should hopefully resume tomorrow. Today does not exist. I so deem it.

EDIT: So is anyone out there actually having a day that DOESN'T suck? Looking around LJ and the state of the world in general, I'm noticing that today seems pretty well cursed...

Mrrrr.

Except that if today doesn't exist, then I didn't finish my Greek paper, and all the other stuff I'm going to do today...

: ) hope life gets better from here.

DEAL.

I move we just go right on to Tuesday. Esp with the "8.6 aftershock" stuff in Indonesia. That is not an AFTERSHOCK, that is an "oh ghod please not another tsunami" moment....

*hug*, to be used when needed.

I'm having a reasonably nice day, as we got to watch a video involving baby goats in Tuvan, though it's soggier outside than I normally like it.

Well, mine hasn't really had a chance to suck yet, and it was probably my own fault that I spent about three hours of it obsessing about how much someone pissed me off yesterday.

Today has blown goats. I've accidentally deeply insulted a very old friend in a public forum, I dropped my tray in the dining hall and shattered a plate and spilled food all over, I was late to class, and I may be getting sick. (Though my Dutch lesson did go well, I must admit.) Today should at least end well, with my happy lindy-hop class this evening, but that's only if I'm not getting The Nasty Stomach Bug That's Going Around. That can't possibly be the only explanation for the extreme queasiness I've been feeling for the past hour, right?...

I hope your day rapidly cases to suck (or blow, as the case may be), but mostly I'm commenting because I truly like your icon.

I've had worse days. I've gone out in the grey cold rainy stuff three times, which isn't my favorite. But I wasn't insulted in class today, haven't fallen down, have an eye doc appointment and registered for classes. Maybe the balence of the universe is such that my getting an OK day is at the expense of other people's good day points? If so, I'm sorry and I'll try to have a bad day tomorrow. . .

I HANDED IN MY THESIS. All hundred-ish pages of the sucker. I love appendices.

Then I played in the mud.

And later today, I'm going to watch Streets of Fire, and I will SING.
