Some time ago, I had a conversation with Fox that I am still contemplating.

Me: ... so the next season is fall. The next holiday we will celebrate in fall is your birthday, and then after that Halloween, and then after that--

Fox: And then Chomp Day.

Me: Chomp Day?

Fox: The day when all the dragons come out and bite everything and destroy the world.

Me: That sounds dangerous.

Fox: *visibly contemplates this* You're right. We should stay inside on Chomp Day.

Further questioning produced the information that Chomp Day definitely happens after Halloween and before Thanksgiving. Things being what they are, you were probably planning to stay inside anyway, and would not have been particularly surprised to look out at any particular moment and discover dragons biting everything and destroying the world, but at least you know now that it's actually supposed to be a holiday, and can arrange your personal festivities accordingly.

I continue to adore Chomp Day. If further conversation produces an actual date, please notify me so that I can tell Fox that I am correctly staying indoors on the day.
