Jan. 15th, 2003 01:33 pmI have been to Boston and back. This was good. Ada probably has an agent. This is also good. There was and is much anime in the universe, mostly Excel Saga. Excel Saga is funny. Ruth and Lauren and I went to see Donna Barr our last night in Boston. She says there is going to be a Desert Peach novel. Yay. She has an extremely forceful personality and spends a lot of time history-buffing at people in a very entertaining manner. "And I can explain a thousand years of Viking economics to you in one sentence: these people were blond!"
I am tired and have allergies and am trying to make myself write. I've been switching around allergy meds, since I'd developed a dependency on the Benadryl that was starting to be very inconvenient-- I could not sleep without taking the stuff-- but the difficulty is that plain decongestants simply don't work, and other allergy meds knock me out even more impressively than Benadryl does. So I'd been trying to get by on Sudafed and have given up and taken some of the other generic stuff whose name I don't remember and so have both all my allergy symptoms *and* mega-drowsiness. Bleah. I love the kitties, but the things I do for love...
Right. I have to go run errands and hope the cold air will revive me, as otherwise I will pass out with my nose in the keys, which is most uncomfortable.
