I am having the same problems you describe in the first half in trying to write about The Little White Horse...

As part of my own process of figuring out how to forgive (or if I even really want to forgive) C.S. Lewis for hurting me very badly, what you've written about Perelandra really helps. It's been years since I last read it but I remember much of it very clearly, so I know that you're right about everything that's good about that book. You're exactly right about things I never considered quite that way before, and it gives me joy to remember and learn anew that Lewis did make those good things. Thank you very much.
