I approached the subject of trying a handful from a friend's new box of Bertie Botts' Every Flavored Beans with a spirit of scientific curiosity, a spirit of daring, an inner realization that I would not necessarily come away from the experience with a candy that tasted good in any way, but that it was, after all, the thought and the experiment that counted.

This did not prevent me from getting a %*#*&% horseradish-flavored jelly-bean.

Three times.

In a row.

I have now given up in sheer nausea.

I thought the Every Flavored Beans were a bad idea when they were fictional.

The fact that they exist in reality has not caused a paradigm shift of any kind. I suspect if I ever come across them and taste some in a spirit of adventure, I will continue to think they are a bad idea. Perhaps this thought will be strengthened.

I don't even understand how buttered popcorn can be the most popular flavor of jellybean.

I like horseradish. But not as a jellybean.

On the other hand, all your writen work is in. Congrats :
