I know that Bittorrent subs are only available through episode 8, but I've heard vague rumors of softsubs for later bits, and I'm utterly confused by IRC. Anyone have any info? Thanks.

I'd point you to the Animesuki forums Simoun thread, but we're getting past 500 posts now and organization is non-existent.

The best way to get soft-subs to ep15 is through the Simoun-Fans yahoogroups, the home of our happy little open-source fansubbing project. Of course, you'd need the raws to watch them, and a yahoo account to join.

That said, I know for a fact that episode 9 has been vastly improved by recent editing (the Neviril lines are beautiful), so taking a look at the finished subs would not be A Bad Thing as well. ;)

There is also a parody sub of episode 12. I was a little slow to catch on. It was only when I got to dialogue like, "we're sibs, so if we hook up, it'll really help ratings!" that I was sure it was a parody.
