I returned from Japan. I am in Maryland at the moment, NYC tomorrow, Boston after that. Job starts Wednesday.
My paternal grandfather died last night around midnight. I would have been in Maryland today anyhow, but it is a different sort of being in Maryland, involving things like estate-sorting-out. No one had expected him to last the summer, but this is faster than we'd thought. And just as well. He was in a bad way towards the end.
Also, it sucks of me, but I have jet lag too badly to feel anything but zonked.
So more later. Including, eventually, How I Spent My Summer Vacation, with pix and blessings on Eredien for lending me the camera, and Why I Miss My Grandfather, as soon as I wake up enough to notice that I can feel anything but tired.
