I love Lin's presentation so much. I mean, a couple of people say obnoxious things about it, but it's so obviously their issue, not the narrative's.
Honestly, Hakata Tonkotsu Ramens would come close to being my perfect show if not for the unnecessarily graphic fridging, which they totally could have done differently without harming the plot. And agreed, that's been a thing lately in a lot of shows, and it's like, look what year it is, can we just not. This is one reason I've been gravitating to anime with non-binary characters and all-male casts: it will be done better than the female casts of anything. Except Ikuhara. Who does like one show every five years. Sigh.
